Can Google Sheets send notifications to other users?
There are a few different types of notifications for Google Sheets that you can set up, here we’ll be focussing on notifications for when your spreadsheet is updated.
The built-in notification functionality only allows sending notifications to yourself, not to other users.
To send notifications to other users you need to use an app like Check Sheet or write some code using Apps Script.
Using Check Sheet you can send notifications to multiple email addresses, Slack channels, Microsoft Teams channels, Discord channels or Google Chat spaces based on a variety of conditions.
